Earn Your CDL-B Learner's Permit and Drive Your Way to a New Career
Our Commercial Transportation Careers (CTC) program provides 3 weeks (90 hours) of comprehensive CDL-B training, designed to prepare individuals for a successful and rewarding career in the commercial driving industry. Our expert instructors teach people how to operate a Class B CDL vehicle, which includes school buses, transit buses, motor coach buses, box trucks, and large straight trucks.
The CTC program is at no cost and focuses on getting participants ready for the skills exam, which includes general knowledge, vehicle inspection, air brakes, and endorsements. Participants also engage in job readiness skills, such as resume workshops, interviewing skills, and conflict resolution.
Additional services provided to participants include financial literacy, mental health, and legal aid workshops, as well as employer presentations by CDL-B companies in around Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County and as far as Washington DC. MND also assists clients in obtaining a DOT (Department of Transportation) card.
Upon successful completion of the program, MND clients will be prepared to take the CDL-B skills test and obtain their Commercial Learner’s Permit. With our training, participants will be equipped to start a new career or advance their current career with confidence and expertise.
