Maryland New Directions is located on the 2300 block of N. Charles Street on the right-hand side, just three and a half blocks from W. North Avenue and half a block from 24th Street and Charles Street across from the Next Step facility. You will see our sign on the left side of the building as you approach the steps to the front entrance. Please dial #005 at the entrance to be connected to our front desk.
From the North and Northwest
Option A – Exit 5 (Maryland Avenue/Mt. Royal)
- Take I-83 South.
- Take Exit 5 for Maryland Avenue.
- After exiting, stay on Maryland Avenue and continue south.
- Turn left onto W. Mount Royal Avenue, then right onto N. Charles Street.
- Our office will be on your right at 2305 N. Charles Street, Suite 100.
Option B – Exit 7 (28th Street/Druid Park Lake Drive)
- Take I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway).
- Exit at 28th Street/Druid Park Lake Drive (Exit 7).
- Keep right and follow signs to W. 28th Street.
- Turn right on N. Howard Street, then left on W. 25th Street, and right onto N. Charles Street.
- Our office will be on your right at 2305 N. Charles Street, Suite 100.
From the South
- Take I-95 North toward Baltimore.
- Merge onto I-395 North (Exit 53) toward Downtown.
- Stay left to continue on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- Turn right onto W. North Avenue (US-1).
- Turn left onto N. Charles Street.
- Our office will be on your right at 2305 N. Charles Street, Suite 100.
From Downtown Baltimore/Inner Harbor
- Head north on Charles Street.
- Continue straight through Mount Vernon and Station North Arts District.
- Our office will be on your right at 2305 N. Charles Street, Suite 100.
By Bus
The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) provides several bus routes along Charles Street. Convenient transit options near our office include the Purple Route of the Charm City Circulator, as well as MTA Routes 51, 95, and the CityLink Silver. From Washington, D.C. (Union Station), Philadelphia (William H. Gray III 30th Street Station), or Baltimore (BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Station) via Train
- Take Amtrak or MARC Train (Penn Line) to Baltimore Penn Station.
- From Penn Station, our office is less than a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk:
- Head north on N. Charles Street from Penn Station.
- Our office will be on your right at 2305 N. Charles Street, Suite 100.
- Taxis, ride-shares (Uber/Lyft), and the Charm City Circulator (Purple Route) are also available at Penn Station.
Parking
- Metered street parking is available along Charles Street and the surrounding streets.
- Free parking is available on 24th Street, just a short walk from our office.
