Stories We Live By: Justin

Previously a stay-at-home dad, Justin registered for MND’s Maritime Transportation, Distribution & Logistics training program to provide a dual income for his family. After completing the program and working with his job coach, Justin became gainfully employed and plans to further his credentials to ensure job growth and long-term stability.

Stories We Live By: Shamia

In her life, Shamia experienced a lack of direction as a young college student and difficulty finding decent work as a single mother of two. She enrolled in MND’s Maritime Transportation, Distribution & Logistics program, completed the training in three weeks, and received a job offer the following Monday to become a longshoreman. She is now gainfully employed at the Port of Baltimore.
