Angel came to Maryland New Directions with a big new career goal. Tired of working in jobs where she never felt she was fulfilling her purpose or doing meaningful work, Angel decided it was time to pursue her love of driving and her dream of one day owning her own business in the trucking industry. She completed our Commercial Transportation Careers program in April 2024 and quickly earned her commercial driver’s license B learner’s permit. Angel is now working on completing behind-the-wheel training, securing long-term employment, and taking the next step toward her dream!
