Industry-Specific Classroom and Field Training with Forklift, OSHA 10, and CCS Certifications
Our Maritime, Transportation, Distribution & Logistics (MTDL) program provides three weeks (90 hours) of quality instruction to help individuals interested in working in manufacturing, production, warehousing, and supply chain industries establish careers in these fields. employment.
The MTDL program focuses on industry-specific training, from material handling to operations and everything in-between. Our knowledgeable instructors will provide participants with an in-depth look into the Port of Baltimore, its rich history and the many famous individuals who contributed to the success of the Port, the City of Baltimore, and the state of Maryland. In addition, participants will learn and develop professional skills to be successful in the workplace, as well as engage in financial literacy, mental health and legal aid workshops.
All MND services are provided at no-cost. MND works with its employer partners to provide participants with industry-related employment opportunities.
Upon the successful completion of this three-week program, MND clients have an opportunity to sit for the industry-recognized, OSHA-approved forklift training and earn their Forklift Certification, good for 3 years and transferable to any organization. In addition, MND also provides TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) assistance to clients offered positions at the Port of Baltimore and BWI Airport.
